International students in scienceThe Faculty of Science at Monash welcomes students from a diverse range of backgrounds. Our students, who come from around the world bring different social and cultural backgrounds, which adds to the diversity of the faculty. The reputation of science at Monash as a faculty built on excellence in teaching and research has contributed to a significant increase in international enrolments. International students now make up more than 20% of our enrolments. Why study science at Monash University?Science by its very nature is international. The advancement of science worldwide is dependant on international collaboration. No single country or university can claim to be expert in any single field of science.
