Graduations information for Science postgraduates
Postgraduate students who complete all of the requirements for their degree are eligible to graduate, provided that there are no outstanding debts with the university.

1. Doctoral students
Doctoral students will be advised by the Monash Research Graduate School (MRGS) when they have satisfied the requirements for their degree, and given information on how to graduate.

2. Masters students / graduate diploma and graduate certificate students
The Faculty of Science Graduate Studies Officer will provide advice to students following the ratification of the award of the degree by Faculty Board.
After being formally advised of the award of degree, students will be invited to apply to graduate through the university's Graduations unit.

International Student ceremonies
Please note these ceremonies are strictly for international students who have student visas that expire prior to the Semester 1, 2008 ceremonies and must leave the country. Any international student who has applied or been granted P.R. status must apply for the normal Semester 1 faculty ceremonies like all other students.
